Let your imagination take flight as Magical Worlds of Light returns to Zoo Halle with a brand-new theme: Fantasy Island!
From 12 December 2025 to 1 March 2026, embark on a journey through seven breathtaking fantasy worlds filled with dragons, elves, dwarves, sea creatures, trolls, wizards, and witches — all brought to life through more than 1,000 luminous sculptures and 15,000 lights.
Spanning five hectares, this year’s edition transforms the Bergzoo into a glowing island above the city. As music, sound, and light merge, you’ll be transported into a world inspired by beloved fantasy sagas like Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones.
A must-see event for families, friends, and dreamers of all ages. Rediscover the power of imagination and experience one of Germany’s most magical light festivals.

From 16 October 2025 to 4 January 2026, Les Animaux de Lumière returns for its 3rd edition with an entirely new theme: Odyssée Sauvage. Explore luminous animals across water, earth, and air in a breathtaking night-time journey for the whole family.
