wild lights at Zoo Schwerin
About the event
Discover Zoo Schwerin as you have never seen it before during Wild Lights!
From 9 October to 29 November 2026, the zoo transforms after sunset into a spectacular world of colour, nature, and light. Follow the illuminated route past giant animal figures and extraordinary light installations, surrounded by the zoo’s forests, trees, and water.
This first edition of Wild Lights in Schwerin puts nature and biodiversity at the heart of the experience. As darkness falls, familiar surroundings take on an entirely new character and glowing animals appear throughout the landscape.
An atmospheric evening experience for families, friends, couples, and everyone who wants to discover the beauty of the natural world in a completely different light.
